“Originating his interest in dance music via Drum & Bass in 2001, Timid has been a force on the decks since he moved to Chicago
from his native Madison, WI in 2006. He was one of the key players who brought the fledgling sound of dubstep to the windy city by means of his celebrated club night Bass Goes Boom. He has since passed the promotion reigns on after a successful near 3-year run to focus full-time on his djing and formal education in sound system design. Currently he brings a wide spectrum of sounds to the party that represents his diverse interests in the UK hardcore continuum which comes through in his sets bringing a tasteful blend of dubstep, uk house, and all things bass.
